About Dr. Steven D. Anderson
I am a career Bible scholar, with three seminary degrees. I am currently living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My current jobs and projects include: (1) working with a team of scholars to create the Photo Companion to the Bible for BiblePlaces.com; (2) writing a commentary on Revelation (see this information sheet and these sample draft chapters: Introduction, 1, 4, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, Excursus on Babylon the Great, 17, 18, 19, 20); (3) working on revisions and translations into Spanish of my Interpretive Guide to the Bible; (4) conducting continuing research on Darius the Mede, who was the subject of my PhD dissertation; (5) as time allows I write new posts for my blog, and also respond to comments and update previously published articles (such as this one); (6) I am involved in preaching and teaching in Hispanic (Spanish language) churches; (7) I do volunteer work for Bibles International; (8) I teach Bible and biblical language courses as an adjunct professor as opportunities arise. Places where I have taught in the past include Capital Bible Seminary, Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary, Seminario Teológico Evangélico Gozo Eterno, and Washington Bible College.
